How it Works

Employees gain experience in each vocational area for a term.

At the end of Term 5 they are offered mentoring and guidance in order to make the optimum choice for a course of study for the remainder of Key Stage 4 and in preparation for post 16 apprenticeships or further education.

  • Specialist teaching will begin in
term 6 continuing until the end of Year 11.
  •
  • Employees will work at a hub for 2/3 days of the week and at the Studios for the remainder of the week on the core areas of study.
  •

Employees will be supported through college application and the interview process.

  •
  • All Hub qualifications will be offered at Level 2, enabling post-16 progression to Level 3 courses

Additional offers

We are also be able to offer a respite term for employees in a hub that suits their needs/interests, with the intention that they will return to their mainstream school after this time.
